For my Thursday late workshop, I will be collaborating with holly Mavin a lyricist and musician based in Huddersfield, we will create a sound / performance response to the works from the house proud exhibition and the Eastern exchange.
This will be a very as I would like the performance to have room to progress and change over the course of the evening.
I ask for audience participation, to do this I will create an alternative musical box. Featuring instruments that are household objects such as pots and pans and tea cups and plates.
Whilst looking after my two year old niece I bought a tin tea mug she liked it and decided to run it along railings. And banging it on various things along our walk. The noises changed and she made rhythms and bangs. I want to capture this freedom and childish creativity in my workshop allowing adults to experience this.
